IRF Executive Workshop on Traffic Congestion Management
May 4-6, 2011
Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.

Increased urbanization and vehicle ownership have led to traffic congestion problems in most cities around the world resulting in reduced mobility, air pollution, economic losses, and decreased productivity. These problems are not unique to developed countries. With ongoing budget and resource constraints many transport officials are looking for sustainable and cost efficient solutions.

This workshop will focus on the latest global innovations, technologies and measures to improve the mobility of motorized and non-motorized transport, as well as on the economic and financial challenges affecting congestion and travel demand, and proposed solutions.
