On 23 to 25 November 2010, Zaragoza will host the II International Congress on Dam Maintenance and Rehabilitation, organized by the Spanish Society of Dams and Reservoirs (SEPREM) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment.

Due to the great sucess of the previous edition, this second international congress aims to provide the basis for it to become a forum for international reference on the latest developments in conservation and rehabilitation of dams.

We want a congress for all, where the submission of abstracts offer the opportunity for real participation of all attendees.

The Congress will be held at the Palacio de Congresos Expo Aragon - which was built to celebrate the International Expo Zaragoza 2008. Building is an architectural landmark, noted for its uniqueness. There will also be an attractive program and an excellent social program for accompanying persons.

Zaragoza is an emblematic city characterized by intense cultural and artistic activity and a lively nightlife. Domestic and international flights direct into the airport make easy access to Zaragoza.

El Palacio de Congresos Expo Aragón, was built to celebrate the International Expo Zaragoza 2008.

Building with an architectural landmark that stands out for its uniqueness and amazed by its size and its length is 167m and its height is 34m, employing over 22,000 m².

It consists of three clearly defined display area, lobby and meeting rooms and auditorium, with capacity for 1400 seats.

Emphasizes the hall with 20m high, specular and majestic, fully lit, as their situation allows natural light to enter by the doors to the palace by the pointed roofs of forms which give a special character to the building.
