Adecco Professional, through its specialization line in Engineering & Industrial, is recruiting for its client a Piping Engineer (M/F) to Lisbon.

Key responsibilities:
• Responsibility for Process Engineering work for the assigned Proposal or Project.
• Prepare Piping Work Instructions;
• Supporting Team Leader/Engineering Manager in preparing Engineering Procedures and Engineering Execution Plan;
• Support Team Leader to establish database and library for Power Plant / Oil and Gas Piping Engineering/ Designing;
• Supports Team Leader/Engineering Manager in setting up a plan for development of engineering capabilities;
• To manage and control piping engineering works and to ensure that the works get complete within budget and meet the schedule;
• Perform engineering conceptual, FEED, piping modeling and detail design and calculations;
• Initiates and reviews material lists, data sheets, specifications, piping model and design reports;
• Actively participate in HAZOP studies;
• Initiate and review enquiry, evaluates quotations and prepares bid technical tabulations and recommendation;
• Provides technical assistance on site during fabrication, hook-up, commissioning and start-up as required;
• Function as Team leader piping when nominated by Engineering Manager;
• Technically assist Procurement Department in project bidding, procuring equipment, materials, and services relating piping discipline;
• Perform other related piping engineering works as required by Team Leader/Engineering Manager.

Requirements:
• Engineering Degree or Diploma (4 year degree), with preferably 4+ years’ experience in Design and execution of projects in onshore and/or offshore facilities;
• Good 2-D and 3-D design knowledge;
• Good knowledge of AUTOCAD, PDS, and MICROSTATION Software;
• Field Engineering experience;
• Good English knowledge “Understanding/Speaking/Writing”.
