Encouraged by the success of our COST Action C25 “Sustainability of Constructions - Integrated Approach to Life-time Structural Engineering” and its excellent outcome, we are pleased to inform you that next year, on 3-4-5 February 2011, we will organize the International Conference “Sustainability of Constructions - Towards a better built environment” in Innsbruck, Austria.

The Conference will gather a large number of researchers, academics, and professionals from a broad range of subjects dealing with sustainable construction, such as:

• Eco-efficient materials and technologies
• Innovative construction systems
• Sustainability Assessment of Constructions
• Adaptation to Climate Change
• Design for Life Cycle and Reuse
• Design and Technologies for Energy Efficiency
• Life-time structural engineering
• Maintenance and Monitoring
• Renovation and Retrofitting
• Construction Waste Management

In a few days the Secretariat will send out more detailed information about the conference, conference website, deadlines for abstract and paper submissions, registration, place of the conference and recommended Hotels. In the meantime, we would like to inform you about the important dates:

• Abstract submission: by 30 September 2010
• Acceptance of Abstracts: 15 October 2010
• Submission of Full Papers for Review: 15 November 2010
• Acceptance of Papers: 6 December 2010
• Submission of Revised Papers: 18 December 2011
• Conference dates: 03-05 February 2011
